I’m a writer and creative who was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States in 1998. I was a staff writer at the sports website SBnation of Vox Media and I’m still an one/off contributor at GQ and Plough Quarterly. My work has appeared everywhere from Mundial Magazine to the Washington Post. I’ve done advertising work — creative, copy, and strategy — for many agencies, including Instrument, We Are Social, and Doubleday and Cartwright. The work has also ranged from Nike campaigns to digital strategy for Activision’s Call of Duty series. When I’m not in meetings, I’m usually reading obscure poetry or walking aimlessly by the water. Sometimes doing both at the same time.
